Common FAQs
Absolutely! We love our furry friends and know just how important they are to their humans. We just ask that they be on a leash since we are a farm and have many animals around the property that might be tempting to chase.
Our space is designed for intimate micro weddings, and we find that up to 30 guests is the most comfortable number to keep the experience relaxed, meaningful, and on schedule. This guest count allows everyone to feel connected, keeps the ceremony flowing smoothly within the allotted time, and preserves the cozy, intentional vibe The Forever Farm is known for.
Guest counts beyond this can begin to affect the overall atmosphere and timing, so we’re unable to accommodate more than 30ish guests.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own officiant or photographer, and you can even have a friend or loved one perform the ceremony if you’d like. Our officiant will still be present to sign your marriage license and make everything official, no matter who leads the ceremony.
Because our packages are already priced as affordably as possible and include these services by default, bringing your own does not change the package price.
Our turnaround time for wedding galleries is at most 6 weeks from your session. Each images includes small edits, such as light skin retouching, spot removal, and color correction. I take my time and edit each photo individually.
We typically do 1/2 of your package price down to reserve your date, and the remaining balance is due 1 week before your wedding. If you would like us to split that up into smaller chunks, 3rds or 4ths, we can. If you have something else in mind just ask, we can usually work something out.
No Problem! Our photographer will take as many pictures as possible and edit the best ones for you. Then they will send them to you though a online gallery where you get to pick your favorites. If you want more high-res digitals than what your package includes, you can buy them individually or there is also a buy all option (currently $300). You can also order prints, cards, canvas, metal art or even an album from our online photo lab.
We do that for you before you come. All you have to do is let us know your decor collection of choice. Each collection contains arch florals (1 large one). aisle florals (6 toppers to set down the aisle) 2 large ground florals for by the alter, and several filler pieces to add around the ceremony space. We also have decor to match for the cake table. Each collection has the choice of either black or white drapery. If you have something of your own to add we can set that up for you too!
We can do whatever you need! Vow renewals, engagements, picnics, photographs etc... If you have something special in mind and need our help please contact us and we would be glad to work with you to make it happen.
The Forever Farm is an outdoor venue, and while Texas weather can be unpredictable, we always have a plan.
If rain is in the forecast, you have a few options:
• Embrace it (for light rain). We have large clear umbrellas available, and light rain can make for truly beautiful, cozy photos—especially with candlelight glowing throughout the space.
• Move to our covered greenhouse. Our outdoor greenhouse offers shelter while still keeping the natural, intimate feel of the farm.
• Reschedule if needed. While we know rescheduling isn’t always easy, it is an option. Your deposit can be applied to another available date.
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and communicate with you leading up to your day so you feel supported and confident in the plan.
Guests should plan to arrive about 15-30 minutes before your ceremony begins. Our gates open 30 minutes prior, giving everyone plenty of time to settle in before the ceremony starts.
Yes! We’d love to show you around. Just let us know what day and time works best for you, and we’ll get you scheduled as long as we don’t have a wedding or event taking place. If you’re not local or prefer a virtual option, we’re also happy to offer FaceTime tours.
We’re located in Rhome, Texas, about 20 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway. Because The Forever Farm is also our private home, we don’t publicly list the exact address. Once we begin communicating and confirm your inquiry (and confirm you're not a bot or scammer), we’re happy to share the full address with you.
Absolutely! Couples have brought in everything from pizza and charcuterie boards to full catering and even hibachi—you’re welcome to bring whatever your heart desires. We also have a picnic table available if you’d like more of a sit-down style reception.
Just keep in mind that if you plan to include food, you’ll need to add an extra hour to your booking to allow enough time for everyone to enjoy it.
We absolutely love that—and fully encourage it. Couples have included unity candles, sand or hourglass ceremonies, unity terrariums, handfasting, cleanses, and all kinds of meaningful personal touches. Your ceremony should feel like you, and we’re always happy to embrace ideas that make the moment more special.
